Swim Lessons are a fun and effective way to prevent tragedy in and around the water

According to a study by the Center for Disease Control, approximately 10 people drown every day in the U.S.  25% of Children involved in a fatal aquatic incident are under the age of 14. Children should always be highly supervised around any water feature but taking swimming lessons can dramatically reduce the possibility of a water related tragedy. Last summer, City of Rockwall lifeguards taught over 400 kids to swim at Harry Myers Pool. We offered 144 different swim lesson classes for ages as young as 6 months to 12 years.

Evening Classes now offered 5:00 -8:00 pm- Register HERE

In response to requests by many of our participants last year, we are now offering extended evening lessons after 5:00 pm. We hope these times are found to be convenient for those working parents that may not be able to make it to a daytime lesson. You can see the lesson schedule below and a link to the class descriptions below as well.

About

Howdy,
I’m originally from Round Rock just north of Austin. I’m a 2011 graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station(Whoop!). I love to be outside and probably my greatest outdoor activity would have to be fishing or camping. I like to kayak fish on Phelps Lake here in Rockwall or on Hubbard if the weather is nice.
